St. Anthony of Padua Knights of Columbus Council #14544 is proud to serve our parish, our families, and our community. Throughout the years, our council has hosted and participated in numerous events that bring people together through faith, fellowship, service, and charity. From charity drives and family gatherings to parish activities and community outreach, each event reflects our commitment to making a positive difference.
A Message from the Grand Knight
Hello, and welcome to the Knights of Columbus Council #14544 webpage at St. Anthony of Padua!
My name is Dennis Murtaugh, and I am honored to serve as the Grand Knight of Council #14544. Thank you for taking the time to visit our website and learn more about who we are and what we do.
Our Council is committed to supporting St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, our parishioners, and our local community. Through fellowship, service, and charitable activities, our members work together to make a positive difference.
Throughout the year, we host and support a variety of parish activities, including:
- Fish Fries
- Pancake Breakfasts
- Bingo
- Parish fundraising events
- Community service projects
- Food and clothing drives
- Outreach to those experiencing homelessness
- Veterans Honor Ride
- Wreaths Across America
- Feeding the homeless with Catholic Worker
- Support for First Choice Pregnancy Center
We are also pretty visible around the parish and the community passing out Tootsie Rolls for our intellectual disabilities drive, handing out Keep Christ in Christmas buttons, and running a fireworks booth for the Fourth of July. And you will find us behind the grill as the Grillmasters at the Annual Parish Picnic and the Annual Trunk or Treat event.
Our commitment goes beyond the parish. We regularly participate in efforts to help those in need throughout our community, including providing food, collecting clothing and essential items, and supporting charitable organizations and community programs.
At the heart of the Knights of Columbus is faith, fellowship, charity, and service. We believe that by working together, we can strengthen our parish, support our families, and help those who need it most.
